Moore Capital

Louis Bacon is a renowned trader as well as risk manager. He originates from the group associated with “offspring” from the well-known Commodities Corp. Bacon surfaced as an excellent macro trader alongside the likes of Paul Tudor Jones (Tudor Investment Corp), plus Bruce Kovner (Caxton Associates). Interestingly enough, Bacon helped get their company started when Paul Tudor Jones ceased taking capital through investors and rather turned these to Bacon’s firm. Returning 31% yearly since 1990, Bacon can be quite proud of their main fund, Moore Global Investments, but, this doesn’t stop there, because his results have shown small correlation with the stock market as well as low volatility. He's the definitive risk manager.
